The bookmakers offering the best NFL Playoffs betting odds

So here it is – it’s time. The most exciting part of the NFL season is upon us, the moment we’ve all been waiting for since week one of the season. It’s playoff time!

And yes I know that means we’re closer to the off-season (and that we are now in the off-season for some), but this is blockbuster time, when those who’ve threatened early doors need to prove what they’re really made of.

Heading into the playoffs, it’s currently the New Orleans Saints who sit as Superbowl favourites at 13/5. The Saints were only downed twice in the regular season with Drew Brees at the helm – slipping up at home to the Buccaneers and being ground down by the Cowboys in Dallas – and ahead of their first playoff game they will have three full weeks to prepare after resting a number of first-teamers in their final game of the season against Carolina. The Saints should be able to add a huge level of freshness to their already magnificent quality, plus they have home advantage which could mean so much when they likely meet the Rams in the NFC Conference final.

Coming in at second favourite is the Chiefs who just pip Rams and the Patriots. The Chiefs have looked imperious this season and the emergence of Patrick Mahomes in his first proper year as a starter has been nothing short of incredible, however, they did lose three of their last six games of the season, including that blockbuster shootout against the Rams, so maybe there is a little bit of vulnerability there. They do have home advantage, though, which should see through to the Superbowl, but that potential AFC Conference final with the Patriots is salivating, to say the least.

Elsewhere, looking to upset the odds are last year’s Superbowl winners the Eagles (who are 35/1 to retain their title with some bookmakers), the Seahawks, the Cowboys, the Texans, the Chargers, the Ravens, and the Bears. It would take a monumental effort from any of those eight sides to make the Superbowl, never mind win it, but strangers things have happened – Nick Foles caught a TD pass in Superbowl 52, for goodness sake.

Anyway, I know what you’re wondering. ‘Which bookmakers are offering NFL Playoffs betting odds this year?’
