Waltz your way on down to the best Strictly Come Dancing betting odds…

Strictly is back! Your favourite TV show involving celebrities dancing in a ballroom on BBC One has arrived once again!

For Strictly fans September to December just wouldn’t be the same without 15 vaguely familiar celebs dancing their way into the nation’s hearts.

Last year saw Holby City actor Joe McFadden shock bookies and pundits alike by fending off Debbie McGee, Gemma Atkinson and Alexandra Burke in a four-way final to secure the glitter-ball trophy. But this year sees no Holby City actors featuring which means everything’s up for grabs (though Casualty actor Charles Venn must be considered an outside shot).

These are the chaps and chapesses who’ll be manoeuvring their feet around Elstree Studios this autumn:

  • Ashley Roberts – Singer in The Pussycat Dolls
  • Charles Venn – Casualty actor
  • Danny John-Jules – Stage & screen actor
  • Faye Tozer – Singer in Steps
  • Graeme Swann – Former England cricketer
  • Joe Sugg – YouTube personality
  • Kate Silverton – BBC News presenter
  • Katie Piper – Former model & TV presenter
  • Lauren Steadman – British Paralympic silver medalist
  • Lee Ryan – Singer in Blue
  • Dr. Ranj Singh – This Morning & Cbeebies Doctor
  • Seann Walsh – Stand-up comedian
  • Stacey Dooley – TV investigative journalist
  • Susannah Constantine – TV presenter
  • Vick Hope – Capital FM presenter & DJ

Some fairly recognisable names on there, but like a quiz answer, they’re only recognisable if you know them. From name alone I reckon I know… five of them? Maybe I don’t watch enough TV these days, but I’m sure those of you who more attuned to the box would have a better idea.

But as ever with Strictly – and other realities TV shows involving celebs like Big Brother and I’m a Celebrity – it doesn’t really matter whether you know the participants before or not. As time goes on you get to know the contestants a lot more intimately with every week that goes by and you’ll soon you’ll find your favourites.

And sometimes, you might want to put a cheeky couple of quid on your favourite to win! That’s why we’ve got that table below.

Not every bookmaker has odds for Strictly, but we’ve found some great sites that do. Have a browse through our selection and see if anything takes your fancy, and remember…

Keeeeep dancing!
