The bookmakers offering the best Super Bowl betting odds

It’s that time of year again. It’s time for the second most-watched annual worldwide sporting event – it’s Super Bowl time!

And for all the hype that the Super Bowl receives, rarely does it fail to live up to it. Already this millennium we’ve seen some absolutely insane moments.

Who can forget James Harrison‘s insane 100-yard interception return for a TD at Super Bowl 43? By the end of the run Harrison was so gassed that he had to receive oxygen, but my gosh was it worth it as the legendary outside linebacker showed his inner Marshawn Lynch to score one the hardest fought TD’s of all time.

And speaking of Marshawn Lynch, remember Super Bowl 49? Trailing 24-28 with just 26 seconds on the clock, the Seahawks had 2nd & goal on the one-yard line and had the most aggressive running back in the game in the backfield. Yet instead of giving the ball to Lynch, the Seahawks decided to throw to Lockette and out of nowhere rookie free-agent, Malcolm Butler steams in to intercept the ball at the goal line to give the Patriots the win. In. Sane.

But it doesn’t always turn out great for the Patriots. Let’s go back to 2008. Down 10-14 with just 2:39 on the clock, the Giants needed to go 85 yards to go ahead against the undefeated New England Patriots at Super Bowl XLII. After picking up two first downs, the Giants were facing 3rd and 5 on their own 44 with 1:15 to go – step forward Eli Manning, and more memorably, David Tyree. The Pats thrust forward a four-man rush and despite three linebackers getting to Eli, he escaped them all, composed himself, and aired one out to the 25 yard line and to David Tyree who launched himself above Rodney Harrison and somehow, with the ball resting on the top of his helmet, held on to a quite incredible catch. 40 seconds later, Plaxico Burress was catching the game-winning touchdown. A ridiculous drive fit to win any Super Bowl.

Then there’s 2017’s insane Pats comeback, Foles’ 2018 TD reception, Mike Jones’ remarkable tackle on Kevin Dyson in 2000, Brady’s 83-yard game winning drive in 2002, and so much more. So many amazing moments, and this year’s game is sure to bring something of its own.
